Sensors / Pulse & Auto Electrical Tester is used for quick detection of pulse output of any electrical assembly of the vehicle. It is provided with a clamp which is connected to the vehicle's component for pulse detection. This tester is ideal to be used for diagnosis of hall sensor, cam sensor, crank angle sensor, & ignition coil pulses in a hassle-free manner. It has a compact yet stylish design with in-built battery and a digital screen at the top. Decades ago mechanics drilled the centre out of an old screw driver fitted a bulb and earth lead to make a simple test probe to check electrical circuits (provide it wasn't dropped)
The next step forward was the humble LED which made the test probe more robust and with the addition of a few resistors, you had a probe that a couple of voltage (more information to assist the mechanic fix the vehicle faster)
With elaborate fuel injected vehicle becoming more common, and the ability to kill said vehicle, very easily by the mechanic testing a circuit with his good old test probe, we saw the emergence of computer proof test probes over 10 year ago, which meant you could again test a live circuit to see what was happening.
Today we see the arrival of the next generation super probe, the Gautoprobe (catch name) which incorporates its own micro technology (like a modern cell phone) with a CPU. Ic's (integrated Circuits) diodes, resistors, etc.
